My Columns

I've had problems sticking I will try my best to update this blog weekly with two or three of any of these columns. Any and all of these comments may have a references or further reading section below the bottom, where I will post interesting links or suggest further reading.

Moleskin Leaves

Often, this is an adaptation of writing from my writing journal. It can involve anything I'm prewriting on at that moment. Often I'll use it as a prompt or a complement for an Untrunked column.

Untrunked

In Untrunked, I present content of mine that isn't professionally published. Some Untrunked columns will have seen a pile of rejection slips, but most often these will be shorts I never really intended to publish. All Untrunked columns are creative commons, meaning you are free to copy and distribute them as you see fit so long as you leave my name on it.

Book Reviews

Kinda self-explanatory, really. I write a review of a book I read, explaining my opinion of it. Often Review columns will have at least one deconstruction element to them, where I discuss the writing techniques the author used.

Public Exposure

This is the column where I plug my own work. I'll inform you of any professional or semiprofessional sales of my work.

State of the Arts

This is where I discuss the publishing industry. All the little open secrets of the industry and my opinions about them will be here.
